15 passenger vans

Dates

Assigned weeks or shifts, October 1 – March 31 when the temperature is forecast to be below 25 degrees on wet nights or 20 degrees on dry nights.
1 week at a time, 6 week rotation (4 weeks in 6 month period)

Provided by

Minimum of 12 churches. This is a perfect opportunity for cooperative effort with another church by sharing the responsibility for the week.

Time

Evening

• 5:00pm – Report to Intake Center
• 5:15pm – 6:00pm – Sign in guests for van
• 6:00pm – 6:30pm – Transport guests to Host church

Morning

• 6:30am – Report to Host church
• 6:45am – 7:00am – sign in guests on van
• 7:00am – 8:00am – Transport guests to Intake Center, Bus stop, School or Day-Site etc. Take linens to laundry.

Sundays

• Transport cots to next week’s Host church

6:00pm – Deliver food/meals to Host church
6:00pm – 8:00pm – Feed guests
8:00pm – 8:30pm – clean up with assistance of guests

Breakfast should be an easy meal to be set out by overnight hosts.

*Bible study, prayer, support etc. must be Opt-In rather than Opt-Out.

Intake is from 3:00pm-6:00pm. Arrive 30 minutes early for setup and stay 30 minutes after for cleanup
