Financial Donations: Giving and encouraging your contacts to give ensures the success of this program.

Recruit Volunteers: Many areas are needed to run an operation such as this. Volunteer positions include mentors, Life+ caregiver referral and resource, food pantry/clothing bank help, administrative help and drivers.

Donations: Food/clothing donations are essential to keep the shelves stocked. Monthly or quarterly food drives, cash donations designated for food and individuals contributing are ways to help with this need.
Clothing donations are always accepted.

Believe in the vision: When you believe in a vision you speak to others about the vision and publicize it whenever possible.

Come and unite with us to improve the lives of those in our community. As we bless those around us, we too, will be blessed.

COFU is both a local mission and a ministry. As a ministry, COFU gives the distinct opportunity for a church to have available “services” without additional efforts involved in running those programs. Mentoring, resume assistance, interview skills, computer skills, job search assistance and food pantry/clothing bank are examples of programs that your church can say you have available to offer through your association with Community of Faith United.

Financial support for COFU:
Ways for a church to contribute financially are: Announce to the congregation that a certain percentage of that week's offering will go to COFU, offer special separate offerings once a month for COFU, or set an amount from Church Budget as a monthly commitment. You can also do 1+1+1; each individual brings one can of food and one dollar.
