The COFU Life +  is a tool to help those in need. The goal is to identify those who desire self-reliance. As a coalition of Christian faith organizations, COFU provides different ways to gain assistance through the LIFE NOWprogram. This effort of COFU is dependent upon monetary and product donations to provide the help needed.

Life + gives assistance to those in need who have been referred by an organization or partner. The goal is to help as many as possible to achieve self-reliance.

COFU represents the organization that generated the referral. A connection between the referring organization and the referred individual is encouraged throughout the time the individual is receiving assistance. This relationship, in addition to our Life + program, is an important part of creating the trust necessary to give the individual hope for the future.

It is important to note that this is the first phase in the assistance program. Future plans include, rental and utility assistance, gas vouchers and bus passes. These programs are dependent upon identifying the financial resources necessary.

In order to qualify for Life +:

COFU's services are by referral only. Proof of Adams County residency or Broomfield County residency is required. This can be a drivers license, photo I.D. or utility bill.

The COFU facility is open Monday-Thursday 11:00am-4:00pm. Food and clothing assistance may be received every 30 days by clients involved in self-reliance activities such as job searches, educational advancement or ESL. The computer lab is available as needed to all clients during all business hours, not just once every 30 days.
